Open coil Springs. The ideal solution to ‘standing’ a block head up high from one of our bases or travellers and allowing the sheave to align with the ropes direction.
N. B. : Pillar blocks are best for springs as the shoulder forms a convenient platform, however the coil spring on blocks with wrap over straps still works adequately.
